What a fascinating conversation. Huge respect to Andy. And wow, the way you two steer the conversation and analyse the book is fantastic. Guess what I'm reading imminently 😁
You're spot on—violence should never be entertaining. I like how you talk about some aspects of life and stories. Violence is violence, plain and simple, and it should come through on the page for what it is. Great interview, man.
This was a pleasant surprise for me today! I've wanted to dive back in for a while, Andy. Your discussion of how advertising poisons our minds is very salient for me and puts me in mind of M.T. Anderson's novel Feed -- have you read that?
Definitely check it out! At first blush, it looks like a story about mindless teenage antics, but it morphs into a terrifying transhuman dystopia and a touching tragedy of young love.
This was a fantastic nerd fest loved every second! 😍🤘 Thank you for sharing!

Missed it, had to jump through the hoops they line up for me. Got my peanuts, back for unfinished monkey business.
